One of the most common questions I hear just about every day is, “What’s new at Simplex?” Well, the answer is we have a number of new and exciting developments and one issue that is at the very core of our business is the way we build homes.
Let me tell you about the very exciting Planet Friendly Homes program at Simplex.
At, Simplex we have committed ourselves to not only building environmentally friendly homes, but to be an environmentally friendly company. To show our commitment, we launched our new Planet Friendly Homes initiative.
Planet Friendly Homes combines the use of environmentally friendly materials and pro environment construction methods with a major recycling effort throughout all aspects of our operation. We’ve even hired a full-time recycling coordinator to oversee our entire recycling effort.
As you tour our facility, especially in our construction areas, you will see many recycling bins. We are collecting all extra pieces of scrap wood, metal, wiring, copper, cardboard, paper – every piece of excess construction material possible. Instead of sending that material to landfills, we are committed to
recycling everything we possibly can. This effort not only reduces by countless tons the amount of waste we as a company generate, but it has forced us to review our entire operation.
If you are thinking about building a new home ask potential builders about the environmental impact of that new home. Ask how it is insulated, the construction methods employed and the materials used. Ask potential builders what commitment they are making to insure future generations have the natural resources available so they may build their own homes. Then ask your Simplex representative the same questions.
I’m confident you will be pleased to build a dream home that is not only the finest constructed home possible, but the most environmentally friendly as well.
