Simplex Offering Customers New Radiant Flooring Heating Option

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

Simplex Industries has announced they have chosen Viega Radiant Heating Systems as their exclusive vendor to provide radiant heating systems for their customers. Viega introduced a new radiant system option that is uniquely suited for the high quality construction work done by Simplex. The new system also offers customers considerable savings on their energy bills.

“After exploring many different options, we’ve chosen Viega’s Climate Panel System,” said David Boniello, Vice President of Manufacturing and Development for Simplex Industries. “The Viega system uses 48” long by ½” thick panels backed with aluminum, making them highly energy efficient for our customers and easy to install. This system also helps our customers control their energy costs when compared to other radiant systems.”

Viega features special U-Turn panels which allow the radiant heating tubing to be turned at each end of the panel to connect with the next row. The fact the panels allow for pre-assembly makes them dramatically faster to install, easy to carry and easy to handle. Up to 20 square feet of the Viega system can be installed at once.

“Offering this system gives Simplex a number of advantages over our competitors,” said David Boniello of Simplex. “Our customers are excited about the energy efficiency as well as the fact we can install both electric and non-electric controls to monitor the equipment. This is absolutely the very best radiant heating option available for our industry.” Viega Radiant Heating Systems says their products conservatively offer energy savings of 15% and typically offer up to 50% lower energy bills. According to Viega, the system also requires lower thermostat settings, lower water temperatures and provides added re-sale value to homes.

Simplex Industries has enjoyed a reputation as the premier builder of high quality modular homes for the past 37 years. The company builds residential and commercial structures in their two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities located in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Simplex prides itself on not only building to the highest standards, but also having the capability and flexibility to offer completely custom construction.

Simplex Stair Shop

Monday, July 28th, 2008

Posted by David Boniello, Vice President Marketing & Development, Simplex Industries

A staircase is the centerpiece of many homes and it’s often a work of art, at least it is in a Simplex home. That’s because the stairs in your new Simplex home are unlike any other – each is custom made in our in-house stair shop by a Simplex Master Craftsman.

At Simplex, we are one of the very few custom builders to offer our customers an in-house stair shop. The stairs for your new dream home, whether a simple design or a highly complicated showpiece design, come to life on our shop floor – each stair is individually designed and built to your exact specifications.

Having a custom stair shop offers our customers many advantages. Perhaps the most important is quality.

A custom built Simplex staircase will simply fit your new home better than mass produced stairs used by most other builders. The staircase will be uniform in size and wood species and is custom manufactured to fit the exact space it will occupy in your new home.

A custom built staircase also allows our customers to have more design possibilities to enhance your new custom built Simplex home.

Ask your Simplex representative about the advantages of custom stairs in your dream home.

Introducing Park Model Custom Homes The Newest Division of Simplex Industries

Wednesday, July 16th, 2008

By David Mertz Vice President Park Model Custom Homes Division

Simplex is now a major player in the recreation home market with the introduction of our newest division – Park Model Custom Homes.

Park model homes are among the fastest growing segments of the recreational home industry. These homes are required by U.S. Government regulations to be 400 square feet or less. While they are designed to have wheels and be mobile, they are very often used as permanent or semi-permanent structures at parks, lakes, RV sites – anywhere where rest and relaxation is the owner’s top priority! While many homes are used just as they are manufactured, many owners enhance their property with the addition of features such as sun rooms or enclosed porches and decks.

Drawing on the decades of experience and expertise of our parent company, Simplex Industries, a Park Model Custom Home is simply a superior reaction home:

  • Our homes features high quality drywall interior walls rather than industry standard low quality vinyl coated gypsum.
  • We offer you the opportunity to custom design your new Park Model Custom Home to fit your individual tastes and needs.
  • Our homes are never exposed to rain or snow during construction. The home is built in our climate controlled state-of-the-art construction facilities.
  • A Park Model Custom Home offers superior craftsmanship – your home is built by some of the nation’s top craftsmen.

Visit our website at www.parkmodelcustomhomes.com for more information.
